Requirements
- Eligibility: The profession listed on your Iqama must be on the UAE’s list of eligible professions, and your Iqama must be valid for the period required by the competent authority at the time of application.
- Passport: Valid for at least 6 months from the return date for each applicant.
- Personal photo: A photo with a white background for each applicant, without any editing. Men without a shemagh; women with the hairline visible.
- Document upload: Clear scanned images in JPG or PNG format.
Processing time and before you order
- Processing time: Usually 24 to 72 business hours after submission.
- Refusal and reapplication: The issuance decision rests with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and a refusal may be due to security reasons or incorrect information provided by the applicant. Reapplying requires a new order, and Traveler.sa is not responsible for the refusal decision.
